Cultivate curiosity.
Inspire learning.
We support equitable STEM education at scale to prepare students to be scientists and innovators for a more just and sustainable world.
inquiryHub provides curriculum development, professional learning, and assessment services to help create equitable student-centered classrooms that foster deep and impactful STEM learning.
Our Focus
The inquiryHub group develops lasting, reciprocal relationships with practitioners to provide sustained support for the adoption and ongoing use of high-quality instructional materials and assessments.
Our Why
We believe all students should have access to engaging, collaborative, problem-based STEM learning experiences.
We Know That
Students are more likely to meet new science standards from rich, problem- and project-based science curricula (Krajcik et al., 2022).
When students are interested in what they are studying, they are more likely to persist in complex, demanding tasks (National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, 2018).
Collaboration is an essential skill for the workplace (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development [OECD], 2017) and for participating in deliberative dialogues in the civic sphere (Barber et al., 2021; Stitzlein et al., 2021).
Schools with high concentrations of racially minoritized students and students from families with low incomes need more academically challenging STEM content (Leung-Gagné et al., 2020; US Office for Civil Rights, 2018).

What Makes Us Excellent Partners
Research & Practice Together
We work at the intersection of research and practice to provide professional learning to schools on their journeys to become more equitable places for STEM education.
Continuous Learning
Our core principles of continuous improvement, co-design, and equity shine through in our professional learning materials, tools, and processes for promoting high-quality STEM learning.
Engaged Students in Caring Classrooms
We’ve learned that when students are highly motivated to interact with joyful, rigorous, real-world learning experiences, they expand their creativity and STEM knowledge and practices.
Equitable STEM Education
We know that students, especially those who are underrepresented and underserved, need participatory curriculum experiences that explicitly allow them to connect science and engineering with their cultural experiences and communities’ priorities.
